Aftercare Options

There are two options for your pet once they have passed away — cremation or home burial.

Cremation

Private Cremation

Your pet is cremated alone, and their ashes are returned to you in a vessel of your choice — usually a casket, urn or scattering tube. Several crematoria provide this service. You can arrange for your pet to be collected from your home, or we can arrange this for you if preferred. We mainly work alongside Legacy Pets in Bury.

Communal Cremation

Your pet is cremated with other pets, and their ashes are scattered at the crematorium. This would be arranged through your regular veterinary practice. We can arrange the transportation of your pet to your veterinary practice.

Home Burial

Home burial allows you to lay your pet to rest in their favourite place at home. You can also bury ashes from an individual cremation.
